As a fan of all things automotive, we made a special pilgrimage to the Bonneville Salt Flats. We really lucked out, chance would have it that the world famous speed week was in full swing.
It is a truly amazing place. People watch in awe as machines of all shapes and sizes take to the salt with a glimmer of hope that they might beat the clock and set a new record. For me, it was yet another big tick on the bucket list.
